What Is a Good CPS Score?
Clicks per second (CPS) is the standard measure of mouse click speed. Average users hit 6–7 CPS with a regular click; gamers using techniques like jitter clicking reach 10–14 CPS, and the very best Kohi/Jitterclick records exceed 20 CPS. Anything over 10 CPS is excellent for most use cases.

Tips to Improve Your CPS
- Relax your hand — tension slows you down and causes fatigue.
- Use your wrist rather than your whole arm for short bursts.
- Try jitter clicking — vibrate your fingers so the button bounces between clicks. Works best on lightweight mice with low-resistance switches.
- Try butterfly clicking — use two fingers alternating on the same button. Requires a double-clicking-friendly mouse.
- Lower your mouse DPI — at very high DPI you waste motion on micro-adjustments.
How This Test Works
Each click event is timestamped using performance.now() for millisecond precision. We count clicks only on the test stage, ignoring right-clicks, keyboard input, and touch events outside the stage. Your best score is saved to your browser's localStorage — nothing is sent to a server.

All counting happens in your browser. We don't see, store, or transmit your click data. The "best score" is stored locally on your device only.
